My anenome the cave dweller, okay?

I have had this anenome for 2 weeks and he has moved into a cave and pokes out of the side. It's foot is in the cave on the rock and it's tenticles are exposed to the light. It has been in the same spot the whole time. It seems to be on a schedule of inflating and deflating. Is this normal? The opening of the cave is on the sandbed therefore, its tenticles are on the sand, is this okay? Should I assume it is happy because it's not moving or is it not moving because its stuck? Do they travel while inflated or deflated? It could get out of the opening if it was deflated but bludges out of the hole while expanded. It could easily get out of the cave at the other end. Is it happy or should I help him find a better spot off the sand? I know this is a lot of questions and I'd really appreciate any help

Let it be. It will move if it doesn't like the lighting or current in that spot. IME anemones can move inflated or deflated.
