My black clown is hovering on sand bed?

I'm concerned because I just woke up and my favorite fish in the tank my small black clown is acting strange. It has burrowed out a little part of sand and is practically laying in it. The bigger orange clown is hovering above the black one. He has been with me for 3 months or more. Nothing has really changed except my water temp drop a little because I switched to a new heater and I'm trying to figure out the correct setting.
I don't think this is normal for this clown, he is usually swimming around and he loves attention. When I have to adjust something in the tank he usually swims right over and nips at my hand.

That is not a sign of affection, it's a sign of aggression ...it means get out of my space, and when mature he/she will draw blood. Clowns do all sorts of weird things, keep an eye on it and see if it returns to the usual swim pattern later after the light has been on for a while. If it is laying on it's side on the bottom of the tank and won't get up...that would be a very bad sign.
Finger crossed that all is well.
Oh and all you do is set the heater on the temp you want and leave it alone. 78 is a great starting point.

It does have a nice little bite but I know it thinks it's the ruler of the tank and acts like it's protecting everyone.
Oddly enough the other orange clown is staying right near the black clown like not to leave each others side.
My tank temp is 78.7 right now but they are usually used to 79.5-81*. I trying to bring it back up slowly.
The tang I just bought is doing fine though. He is swimming all over and pecking at the rocks.

Well the clown is doing ok again. He/she they weren't happy with the direction of the flow. Now they are back in action. I was worried something was happening to my tank!!
