Before I knew that clowns could not be mixed, I bought a clarkii clown,2 False clowns ,and 2 true clowns. The clarkii was in the tank before the Percula's,and hosted in my anemome. When the Percula's came into the picture he was very terratorial, and killed 1 of each kind of Percula!
I wanted to take him out out of the tank but my dad didn't let me.He doesn't think it's worth the work of taking out the rocks and corals to remove the clownfish.Yesterday the Clarkii began to feed my anemone's,and now my dad has a reason for not taking out the Clarkii.I have a Tomatoe clown in my other tank,so I won't be able to put the Percula's there. What should I do?It will probably come down to me selling the Tomatoe clown, and putting the Percula's in the Tomatoe's old tank. Can you tell me some ways to remove
fish without taking out rocks and corals, and explain those ways.My dad still might not let me move the Percula's even after learning new ways of removel so can you also tell me that the clownfish should be in different tanks so he will give in.
Thank You ,
Justin

try cutting the the top of a 20 oz bottle and invert it in the rest of whats left over, sorta like a minnow trap, bait it with some sort of meaty food like mysis and hope for the best. good luck

Is to wait until they sleep. Late at night, when the lights have been out for awhile, and you know that they're asleep, grab 'em. It's as simple as that. When fish is asleep it's less aware of its surrounding. It might still react to the attempt of capturing, but it'll be less quickly. So you should be able to remove it easily.
