My clown fell in love with a artifcial BTA!!

My maroon clown has fallen in love with a fake anemone that I have in my tank.He wants nothing to do with with anything real.He so protective over his fake anemone that if I reach my hand in the tank to clean he will attack me if I get to close to his fake anemone.It is just a yellow plain fake anemone he sleeps inside of it and never goes to far from it.Is this normal??Should I just let him keep it???
I've had him for about three months and he bonded instanly to this fake anemone.

LOL !! As long as he's happy, he's good. I've heard people having fake anemones in their tanks and experienced no problems.
A nice, cheap alternative from the real thing for those who want one in their tank without worrying about light requirements.
