My clownfish are crazy!

I have two false clownfish as my only fish in a 25 gallon tank (I have had them for about 3 months). The water parameters are all perfect (ammonia-0, nitrate-0, nitrite-0, pH-8.3, salinity 1.023-all this way for a long time) but just today my smaller clown has started to act bizarre. It is still eating and it looks fine but it seems to be doing something like stopping swimming and then doing this shaking motion. I have read that this could be a sign of submission, but it just looks so strange. I just want to make sure that there isn't any disease associated with this type of thing. All answers are appreciated! Thanks

Mine does the same thing. The female will chase him around or be nipping at his belly. He'll dart a short way away and then shake like he's having a seizure. Glad to know it's normal.

Clownfish are so awesome , my tang and my maroon will play friendly together and rub on eachother ( My tang is dumb , he thinks himself and my maroon are a mated pair.)
then my maroon will swim across the tank away from the tang , and if the tang doesnt follow him , he will dart back to where the tang is turn around real fast and then wiggle his tail in the sand in the tangs face , almost as if he is saying come on chase me

I agree about the tangs ocean. I enjoy my juvie yellow but without boring you with the details the fish is just dumb as a brick. I suspect tangs in general just aren't the sharpest tools in the ocean. Especially the juvies.

My young Purple Tang enjoys occasionally darting through my school of 6 Chromis and scattering them.
He also yanks so hard on his algae sheets he pulls them out of the clip.

i know that the dumbest of all fish is MY blue tang, it looks like a clown and it acts like it doesnt have a mind of its own.
this dumb thing shits then ingests its crap again. my other fish have used that to their advantage because when i put food in the other fish will almost all at once take a crap and then go and get the food, while my blue hippo is in a poop cloud munching away.
