My clowns laid eggs!!!!!

OK came home today and saw my clowns acting wierd. Saw my clown swimming upside down in a crevis between some rocks, and the other (little one) circling around. He is never more than 3 inches away from the other one. When I looked I saw orange eggs! This is a first for me, and I have a few questions.
How long do they take to hatch, if they make it?

0% chance they will make it. u need a separate tank with rotifers, and live foods like baby brine shrimp. and no filters, only air stones. i think it takes like 1 week between 2 weeks to hatch.

but the good thing is that after they spawn they will continue to do it every few weeks or so. so if u wanna keep some alive u have to start another tank with some of the same water that the clowns are laying eggs in so the tank could cycle a little faster. a good way is to place like a small piece of glass where they are laying eggs around and hopefully they will lay eggs on that so moving them wont be a big problem.
there is more info need to be shared and im not sure what it is so go on line and research clownfish fry raising.
good luck

i've been reading this book and to add to the info about if you see the clowns are about to lay eges move them to the other tank. one will stay and guard the eggs. and once your are able to raise them successfull if they can swim on their own you are suppose to take out the parents.

Thats not a book I would rely upon very heavily unless you mis-read and the book said to move the eggs before they hatch and not the parents.
in answer to the OP. the eggs will hatch in 7-9 days. I wouldnt worry about raising the first batch or 2.. Take the time to not gestation and spawning frequencies.. get some rotifer cultures going (its easy) and pick up "Clownfishies" by "Joyce Wilkerson".
Some people use a flashlight to draw the larva to the light and scoop them out into a larval tank. I and many others prefer to slip a tile in where the eggs were layed to let the clowns spawn on the tile, then move the tile on hatch night.
