My coral???

Something wrong with one of my corals!!! It was fine yesterday. This morning more than half of it didn't open and was covered with some kind of slime!!! What is it??? Thank you all!

Those are known for hard to keep corals(flowerpot). Hope you get some expert advice from someone.

FYI NatureLover, that is NOT a Flowerpot coral, it is a Galaxy coral.
What's going on with that coral Alex? It looks like its got a covering of dead tissue on it. It kind of looks like a shedding process. You see this often in leathers.

It is a Galaxy I am not sure whats wrong with it I have never seen it before but it really does look like a dead tissue. Anyone help???

alex is it a brown slim on the coral if so i had this with a flowerpot and was told to give it a frash water dip and this help out my coral.
