my coraline is dying!!!!

I added some calcium today and the alkalinity as far as I know is okay. But the rock used to be a deep purple and now it is a light purple and starting to get white areas!
What am I doing wrong??
BTW if it all does die off, is that a bad thing for everbody in the tank?

oh yeah, I forgot to add that I recently changed lights from about 20 watts that had been there for about 2 months to 2- 55 watt compressed.

Try adding Iodine

You didn't include any tests. Don't add iodine. You need to check your PH, salt, KH and CA. Also, the jump in lighting may have shocked it. Cut back on the light time and gradually increase it over a week or two. HTH
