From Animal-world
"Cowfish, Longhorn Cowfish, or Long-horned Cowfish adults can grow to 50.0 cm (20 inches). They usually only get about 40.0 cm (16 inches) in aquariums. Their size can be deceiving since they are usually very small at the pet stores."

NICE TANK!
I just got my Cowfish about 3 weeks ago and I love it. Mine just learned how to shoot/spit water out of the tank at me! He will come up and stick his horns out of the water (sometimes one of his eyes also to look at me) and I will gently blow onto his horns while they are out and he hill lean back and blow water at me!
Once he gets big, he will probably be spitting streams out, lol...
He is also making my clowns braver. They have been watching him eat out of my hand and they are starting to come up there, nibble and RUN!

I believe you will be taking a chance on moving the possibility of Ich to your other tank by moving the coral over there.
Let's see what others say.

my dt will always have parasite eggs i am sure because of lots of large tangs but it makes the cleaner wrasse happy for a year and the cleaner shrimp but i never have a problem for years since i have this hobby and accept it will always be there regardless how many months of qt/ hypo the fish.
on smaller scale and without natural parasite cleaner like this one.it could be a problem.
anyways the cowfish it seems ich free after good feeding.
also added more corals in the tank and paired firefish.
PS no flame just my opinion.

Add cleaner shrimp and clown fish on the tank plus more corals. All corals are thriving due to frequent feeding

Nice looking stuff!
Love the cowfish just like about a billion other saltwater stuff I won't get unfortunately. Soooo many options and so few tanks.
Wish I had a tank at work to look at over streamed in TV at 230AM lol
