Well she is only 2 months old but imo its never to early to get them into the hobby.
I picked up a little 5 gallon Hex from walmart tossed out the light and filter and added my little 13w 50/50 i got with my pico about a year ago and my penguin bio-wheel. Took some LR from my other tanks, maybe 4-5lbs or so. Decided to go with Black sand this time and i really like to look over white.
Current stock list is
Pom pom crab
several heads of zoas i fraged from my 20long
some type of red algae i got from the LFS for my tangs.
Upsidedown Jellyfish that i also got from the LFS for free, not sure how long im planning on leaving this guy in this tank as its hard to keep him out of the intake for my filter but he is looking 3x better now then he did when i got him.
LFS was about to flush it when i asked if i could have it. At the time i had this tank setup with nothing in it but water and wanted to see if i could nurse this back to health.
Not sure what my future plans are for this tank. At first i wanted to do Dwarf seahorses but i have 0 experience with them so im not sure im ready to start out with Dwarfs as i read they are harder to keep.
And with only 13w of light there are not many type of corals i can keep, may add a few shrooms later to see how well they do.
Im thinking of adding 2 small clown gobys and some type of shrimp, cleaner or fire but as of right now im not sure like i said where i want to go with this tank.
Anyways comments/suggestions are welcome
