My dog is way too fatt

I came home tonight and my dogs stomach is real fat and he is darkened my wife feed them but she says she dont think she over feed. Is he sick or what?

Puffers will blend in by darkening at night and will puff up when stressed or scared. Seems like something is wrong. What's your water readings and what else do you have in the tank?

I KNOW WHAT HE LOOKS LIKE WHEN HE PUFFS AND ITS NOT THAT WATER PARAMETERS ARE ALL FINE AND HES WITH A PORK BUT THEY SEEM LIKE GREAT BUDDIES. THE ONLY OTHERS THINGS IN THE TANK ARE HERMIT CRABS A BRITTLE STAR LR AND LS

No need to yell....remember fish tend to go down quick in a matter of hours(generally) ..which in this case will make it better for you..keep a close eye on him. Remember fish are great weather predictors. We here in Michigan have had many fronts go through which has effected how my fish are acting... When I had mine(dog face) he did strange things also. Napping (turning dark) curled up in the rocks. I wouldn't panick yet. And remember he will only eat when hungry you run a better chance of contaminating your water then over feeding him.
