My double head of frogspawn

Couple things I thought of while I was staring at my tank. I have an awesome double head of frogspawn that I got from a great seller on this site. I noticed today that the green with purple tip FS is really swelling up ( I believe that is a good thing?) and the mouths are really visible now. Is this a good thing??? I also noticed that the purple tip has two mouths. Will it split? The green tip and purple tip are on two separate pieces of rock but the rocks are connected at the bottom. The two heads rub up against each other. I know that some corals will sting others. Does FS do that to each other? Should I separate the two pieces of rock or leave them together? Thanks for the advise!!!!

I dont think LPS of the same species will sting each other. As far as the separation question, I dont know enough about that.

With the frogspawn I have I have a few heads with multiple mouths. They are slowly starting to move apart and pinch together so it almost looks like a figure eight on top, if you know what I mean.

They build their own skeleton and they multiply by growing new stalks that start small at the base or under the branches making new branches. As for stinging they will not sting each other it is the same coral. I have my FS right next to my hammer and they touch all the time and have no problems.
