How long has your tank been running? I really wanted to get a snowflake eel but have heard its a hit or miss with them eating your fish even when fed.

I have only had this tank for about 1.5 months now. Im kinda working on getting the eel out of the tank now, because its a hit or miss with it eating my fish, but it's not as easy to get it out of the tank as it was to put in, and I'm not gonna remove all the rock.
I think Im gonna put a soda bottle in the tank with some food in it and move the eel to a 55 gal tank.
As for the lock,..lol ! yes I have a 14 month old that gets into everything, and my wife runs a daycare, so we have to keep everything locked up as good as we can.
If you look close on the pic of the eel you can see the eel,.. a yellow tail,.. and the lawnmower
