My first attempt on 55gallon

Pardon the quality of photos. I'm still learning how to take photos of our tank. I did learn that using a flash turns everything really sharp, but shadows are horrible so all my pics are taken with no flash.
Also I messed up our background by having a few drops of water fall between the glass and the backing when I was cleaning up the protein skimmer :( Oh well, I'm blond hehehe
We are going to switch the backing to black, looks better and we have it on our 44 bow fresh water tank.
Here we go...
Condi Anemone
Take a look at the LR behind the Condi and you see how much algie it has. The next pic is after I received a cleaning crew of snails/crabs.

Skunk Shrimp checking out our small Yellow Tang and Ocellaris Clown (5yr old female) and True Percula Clown (6mo old male) try to stick themselves in front of my camera

I just love this one... Skunk Shrimp cleaning out our Tang. Last night I saw the shrimp jump on the side of the Tang and ride around with it.

Full picture of the tank, still a work in process

Thank you for taking the time to look :)

:) it's still fresh meat, 2 months
My husband is the equipment geek and in charge of anything technical when it comes to our 2 tanks and I'm in charge of the living things. So far so good, knocking on wood!
Right now he is getting ready to build a sump and we are already looking for a larger tank for another part of our house. This is a very addictive hobby and I'm sure I'm not the only one saying it :)

It depends on many things... Minimum 100, max 200... I think. We are still in the planning phases and seeing how well we do with this small tnak. It's definitely a learning experience :)
We are going to put it inside a wall so it's a see-through in the addition we are building (on hold right now). It will be between my new office and the game room.
