I saw this in the store for a about a month and finally decided to take it home!!
anyone know the exact name of this clam?
if u notice the top down shot, it has green spots and at a side view they are blue!
Definetly not a Crocea Clam. In fact, its the exact opposite size wise. That specimen is a Tridacna Gigas. That specimen can grow to be over 4 FEET across, and weigh over 500 lbs. They're one of the "lower light" clams (T5, 150 watt halides, etc).
