the blue-legs are a bit cheaper but can get more aggressive as they get bigger. I have watch my blue-leg rip a scarlet out of its shell. in my opinion i would stay away from the blue-legs. i would go with a a few scarlets, emarald, and maybe a shrimp or a small serpant star, snails are good cleaners but they knock everything over. what size is the tank?

nope, they wont and the mandarin wont last long at all in a newly cycled tank

Ditto - mandarin's don't pair up with pistol shrimps - they tend to only eat live food and require a lot of rock work and peaceful tank mates - if yo uare buying one then make sure it eats prepared foods prior to your purchase or he will slowly starve to death!

I have everything in a 10 as of now but will be moving everything into a 30 that I just got in about a year or so. Then it's on to my 55.

He would go into my tank no earlier then 5 months into the tanks life.
Question do you guys think I should bump everything up to my 30 now or let it go right now. I still need lights, PH's, and Lots more rock for that + a bit more sand. I dont have all that much money right now but slowly and surely I am getting it.
What do you think I should do.
