WEll I put on a hang on refrigium on the back of my tank and bought a bag of caulpera. Tonight I noticed several polyps in the fuge... Needless to say the Caulperera was full of asperia  I started going through a handful of the Caulpera only to find 30+ aspreia polyps. I shoulod of checked it before I put it into the fuge but I was afraid of disturbing the good stuff in it. It had tons of little clams and pods. I immidiately stopped the flow and removed the fuge from the main tank. But I'm afraid the damage may have been done. If you are in Sunrise FL be careful of the Culpera you buy here check it first!!!!! Don't do what I did!
Here is a pic of my asperia I collected from 1 handfull it is blury but the brown speks are the nasty asperia!
Any suggestions for prevention of my main tank will be greatly appreciated.

I have had good success with pepermint shrimp. It's been my experience that you need to have them in groups of 3 or more. Haven't got a clue why, but when I've had less than three they don't seem to be as successful.

Well I have all of it out of the tank. I just hope there aren't any spores floating in my main tank. I'll be adding a few peppermint shrimp on tuesday just to be sure.
I guess I won't be visiting aquacon again. They didn't even return my email....

which in the picture are aptasia?? The little tube shaped ones with surroundings almost like a daisy? If so I have several that pop out at night, are they really bad? I have one that lives in the crushed coral and several perched on the live rock, they won't come out when the light is on.

I dont think apistia reproduce by spores the reproduce by laceration or movement leaving parts of it behind to make a new apistia. I always had luck with kalk syringeing them.
