Here is what I have:
75 Gal tank
40w strip light
quiet one pump
oceal clear filter with bio core
CC substrate
7lbs of LR
2 turbo snails
2 astrea snails
1 damsel
I started with two damsels. Then I added another. He dissapeared. I have no idea what happened to him. Then I got the LR and added it to my tank lastnight. My two remaining damsels were both fine lastnight. Now my domino has died. I walked into the room and he was stuck on the intake of the filter. I tried to get him off and he was swimming like he was drunk, really slow and upside down. I don't know what is going on
 . I wanted to add some more LR but I don't know if thats what killed my fish. Please help me. I am just trying to get started and I feel lost.

First off,Thats one hell of a BIG pump for a 75 gallon tank.No wonder fish are getting sucked up. Second WHAT ARE THE WATER READINGS??Is this a new tank??Still in the cycle??Was the live rock cured??

I have drilled many holes in the intake so the suction of the filtration device is minimal. It's not strong enough to suck in a fish I assure you. Second, yes I was told that the LR was cured. My tank should still be in the cycle and I have taken no redings. I am taking a water sample to my LFS to have it tested today. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
And the first fish that dissapeared did not get sucked up in the filter and the pump for him and he was no where to be found. It's like the x-files or something. I didn't think that damsels were big enough to eat other damsels.

You really need the readings. Probably a sharp ammonia spike or possibly the fish were not healthy to start.
