Give them time. They are just trying to acclimate to their new environment. They must feel more comfortable with the lights out. When they get use to their new home they should be fine. Give them a few days. Also make sure you water params are good.

like simm said make sure params are good and check to make sure no one is harassing them. You did mention its tank mates.

I feel ya pain, jonathon0883....I'm going thru something similiar myself. My fish (or one of them anyway) goes up and down my tank....all the time! Everyone on the board has told me that my parameters may be a little off. Well my trates are 20 so I have to do a water change (AGAIN) and will clean my substrate. She probably is a tad stressed. I say if your parameters are good, sit back and enjoy those beautiful creatures!

perc clowns tend to be well, clowns.
are the fish eatting? if they won't eat with the lights on, feed them with lights off....
If they are eatting, you have less to worry about, fish, ime, tend not to eat before they are going to die (it normaly how we can tell a fish will die).
off the wall:
what's the temp? are the lights heating up the water too much? just a thought.

i only have an ammonia test kit and before i bought the fish i had my lfs test it and they said my salinty was at about 1.021 so i needed to bring it up alittle and so today i did a water change to help bring it up...they only other creatures i have are hermits and snails...my fish just seem to like the lights out better...its only been 3 days now so hopefully they start exploring more

get more test kits, nothing is more important than ur water parameters and with a new tank should be checked regularly. Even if this is not the problem, I advice you strongly to get them for the future.
