My foxface's eyes

I have a foxface lo. I have noticed that his eyes have kind of a translucent dark blue surface (like a porc puffer, but not as bright/colorful)
Have any of you noticed this?

ya, i used to have a foxface too, and he had the same thing. I heard somewhere that that is caused by not enough nutrition or something like that(feed more greens) . I dont know if its true or not.

I was hopeing that it was normal! Not a deficiency! anyone else know if thats true?

My foxface eyes are just shiny black. Never noticed any other colors or shades.

Mine is the same way. At first I thought there was something wrong with him, and now 7 mos later he's the same way. So I think that's normal.

hey guys! some interesting developments...
I went to my lfs today and they had like 5 foxface and they all had the blue "film" on the surface of their eyes. Some were more visible than others, but they all had it. I asked the people there if it was normal and they were like:
"duh....ive never noticed that" and looked at me like I was a total kook.
Then I showed her and she was like "yeah thats normal"
I swear it makes me so mad how little some lfs people know! Do they even look at their fish and make sure they're buying healthy specimens?
