MY GBTA split

Does this mean that he gets the proper nutrients and lighting? He is in my 29 gallon and I feed him silversides everyother day. He had gotten so huge (spread out) that I was starting to think I needed to get rid of him.
Got up this morning to two lovely looking GBTA. I am just curious as to know if that means that everything is good? ***)

Over feeding like that can assist BTA's in splitting. Otherwise sounds like everything is ok.

Well I didn't think I was over feeding as he never spits anything out. When I feed the tank, he makes his mouth ready for food. Should I lay off for a while? Don't want to make him sick.

Thats up to you and your lighting. Personally there are some anemones in my tank that I have never fed, most thought get something about once a month from me. Sometimes it's two months before I feed them.

OH
I am so sorry. Mine are happy and now they have 2 anemones to play in.
Thomas - my lighting is 130W PC in a 29 gallon. I feed them so much cause they act like they want to eat by showing their mouth really big when I feed the tank. I was thinking maybe this might make up for lack of lighting if I didn't have enough. Although you did tell me my light was fine a while back before I got it.
Anyway I will cut their feeding back as I don't want them to be splitting all the time.

by the way, I don't like you. Well, that was a little harsh. See my post about my bta and its splitting saga.
No really,
Congrats. I am glad it happened. I can't wait until my BTA either gets better or it dies and I can get another one. I loved it when they balloned out. i think they are pretty. My Gold Stripped Maroon is lonely with his half dead anemone.
