even though a large portion of this coral died a small aprox. 1-1/2" section seems to be doing well. I ended up moveing it out of the strong flow inorder to catch a 8 lined wrasse and noticed it protruding from it skellaton and decided to leave it in a low flow area it seems to be doing fine. I did look at another hammer that came in on the same shipment as this one and it has completely died off. so I am convinced that the fresh water bath saved this anamal thanks again for all your advice.
