My HOB Penguin bio-wheel is noisy!

So this thing is only a few months old and after I cleaned it today its noisy all the sudden.
My 8 year old penguin in my fresh is quieter then this one...

Soak the whole wheel assembly in vinigar. Overnight. But make sure to rinse real good after lol. MOst likely some salt buildup got inside the shaft

The filter wheel? I never use that its out of the unit.
Or are you talking about the magnetic propeller inside?

You dont use the wheel? How comes? Well if you dont use that then have you taken the propeller out of the shaft and checked for any sand ect?
