Love the coralline algae growth within the system. Also the rockwork isn't the typical wall - so hat's off to you. Fantastic system keep up the great work.

Thanks...I wanted a different look than the wall of live rock...I have to just figure out how to place my corals..I am giving it my best shot...i move things from time to time..(can't keep my hands out of my tank..I know, I know....

I only wish I hadn't started to scrape the coraline off the back..(me and my bright ideas) ...I got down to the white crust and decided to stop...I am hoping the colour will come back..It is looking like it just might do that. I really liked the colours of the coraline on the back glass...IMO makes it look really natural ..

first off..thankyou!
about my maintenance...well, it's pretty simple actually. I try and do a 10 gallon water change every 2 weeks..(about 15%) and clean my glass, top, protein skimmer, sponges... takes me about an hour or so. I do it every two weeks because I have a heavier bio load (I have more fish than most recommend but I can't help myself) My clean up crew include a couple of the large turbo snails, about 10 small nassarius snails..4 large nassarius snails..about 10 small hermits, 2 red reef hermits, 1 fighting conch, and 4 emerald crabs..and a diamond goby that is really great on turning the sand over..so, that's it. I feed my fish every day, sometimes twice... I guess I just kind of watch my skimmer...when it needs cleaned...I do my maintenance..and that usually is about every other week.
