My husband purchased this coral can someone tell me what it called?

Looks like a clove polyp maybe. Hard to see. Some sort of polyp. Need close up picture

Yup, looks like cloves or some sort of star polyp. Either way very easy to take care of. Just make sure it doesn't spread out of control. It will spread to anything it touches.

lol did u buy that at house of fins in miami, fl. they have one like that there. if u did then its green star polyp

it's quite likely that they flew from ontario to miami to purchase some corals
