WELL...the good news is now we know what they are....the bad new is that they are hydroids, and not good.....they need to be removed.
 
I had something similar, and I covered them with epoxy and smothered them......I DO NOT KNOW...of other ways, but I am sure others do

No, I think you have to manually remove them or kill them.

Well, you can pluck them out. Many people do it with tweezers.

1...try sucking them out with a baster
2. Make a kalk paste and smear it on them
 
 
your rock will not be ruined

yeah but the problem with that is if I don't get everyone. They will just come back. So far from what I am reading it. Kalk paste and try to smother them or boil the rock. Only one of these will get rid of them without spreading them

I can't imagine being able to get enough suction with an eyedropper.....if you don't have a turkey baster, buy one at a dollar store.....they cost about a dollar LOL

That could be a vermitid snail.....kinda a hard tube....and tentacles go out and in

Hey, that green shell looking thing, gotta get that out too. I have one on my rock, see my thread for pics, and I know exactly what it is. Further on in my thread i post a pick of something asking about lemon juice. that is what that nasty anemone looks like hiding in the rock.
 
Tweezers? Really? I am about to try that as some of those blasted things didnt die with the lemon juice. It looks like I killed one for sure though. There is another one that is looking rather sickly, and there are 2 more that need to be removed too.
