My ipod went black

I accidently let my ipod run out of battery and now it wount turn on when i charge it
is this normal :notsure:

If its fully drained, when you plug it into a charger, the ipod should say Very low battery, or somthing like that. After a half an hour it should be good.

Either that or you need to reset it, by holding the center circle and menu or play,, im not sure which one, for like 6 seconds, and it will reset, i dont think it a dead battery issue, but a reset issue, because the same thing happened to me about a year ago.. i panicked.

its the center button and the top button

what ipod do you have?, if its a mini(thats what i have) there have been some battery problems reported in the past. take the entire thing apart, and check out all the wires.

Also what type of charger are you using? We bought a plug in the wall charger and everytime we charged out ipod with it went black and was unresposive. We found out that it needed to be reset (BTW google this and look it up on the apple site) Needless to say we do not have the charger anymore.
