Valiant is 4 months old. He's the coolest fish I've ever had. He's a ham for the camera too!!! :happyfish

I am going to get 3 more horses for my birdath in May. But I am not goin to purchase any tank mates for Valiant until I have my Fish/Laundry room completed.
I will be building 4-5 frag tanks, Brine & Mysis breeding tanks, a QT tank, and a HT tank.

I also found out what seahorse species you can house together. I am hoping to get a pair of Redi and a mate for Valiant. I haven't decide if I want to get all males..or...one female and 2 males...But I won't get ANY pairs unless I have the Fish room completed and up and running. 500 to 1500 baby seahorses is a lot of mouths to feed!!!!! :happyfish

Wow, very cool Rykna!! I have to agree with the breeding part of sh's. That's why I'm leaning more towards first starting mine out with probably 2 of the same gender (not sure which yet). I am, however, sure that I'm going to go with h-erectus. I love them all, but the breeder that I've talked with raises erectus, and I think they'll work great for the system I'm planning.

Me too. It's going to be a while yet. Just getting things underway today. LR will be going in tomorrow after the tank water is heated a bit. Can't wait even for that.

My tank is my 37gal tall. I'm not really sure how much LR at this point...don't have it yet. But so far I have 35# of sand in the tank and about 11 gals of water. Waiting for my new angel to acclimate before adding the rest of the water to the sh tank. Fun stuff.

Sounds GREAT!!!! :cheer: What kind of angel?
I'd get lots of LR since horses love pods. I currently have 45lbs in my 90 and I need to get at least 45 lbs more to help the pod population.
