Ok so most of you know iam planning on getting a ray or shark and iam upgrading this christmas.Well i want a ray and it will be a spotted round ray. Now, iam confused about this, some web sites said i need a temperture of 72-66 F.(ie animal-world.com). And some other sites said the ray will do fine in a temp of 78-72 F. (ie, marinedepotlive.com).HELP!! Now iam asking the good people. What temperture can the ray live in?
Thankyou for your help.

Im not exactly sure what you mean by "spotted round ray" but I assume its one of the Cali rays or Cortez rays. My pair of calis do very well in higher temp water. The temp is a stable 74-76 deg, and besides an accelerated growth rate, there are no other ill effects. I researched the same thing before I bought mine, and everyone I spoke to told me they would be fine in that temp range up to 76-78 deg. HTH.
