my lid broke on my nano

I was cleaning today around my tank today and noticed that my lid was not lined up. The back left corner was severely off center. I have had this nano going for about 2 months. About 30 minutes ago I lifted the hood again to see if everything was ok, and one of the "@%$&#!*" supports snapped off into the water
. Has/is anyone else having issues with this problem!!!

what type of tank is it ....i bought a mh so not using my lid from a aqua pod 24..and your in luck im in michigan if tis the right 1

I think you can buy shell tops (minus the fans, lights, ballasts, etc) from either the mfr, nanocustoms.com, or nanotuners.com.
People buy them to do DIY upgrades to their tanks.
I'm in the same boat. The feeding lid clip broke on mine (1st day) so I need to get a new one as well. I've e-mailed JBJ but have yet to hear back from them on replacement parts.

warranties only cover manufactures defects and not accidental breakage due to the customer. Thats why they say LIMITED warranty.

a lid doesnt just break from use. did you hit it hard or drop something on it. otherwise call up and complain. believe me they will send you a new lid they dont want a lawsuit.

Been there-Done that a couple of weeks ago.If its a Nano Cube you can call JBJ and order replacement parts,heres a link:

Scroll down to page 7 and 8 and they give you an exploded view of tank and parts numbers.They charge $8 for UPS shipping and parts arrived in <5 days
