my maroon clown died today

i bought a maroon clown sat and today he was dead,amm at 0 trites at 0, he would not eat and just stayed at the surface, anyone had this problem

Argh.. that sucks. I've had fish die of stress.. <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" /> Not sure if that's you case though.

sounds like an acclimation issue, a sick fish, or a non-cycled tank.
is this the first animal you were presenting to the tank? How long did you acclimate the fish before intrducing it into the tank? What did it look like in the LPS?

Oh, Yeah, Was it a part of a mated pair? You could have killed it from loneliness. This happened to me once.
