just got back from local petsmart where I was picking up a pump. Well guess what all? According to the salesperson there, "any pump that's safe for freshwater, is safe for saltwater!" I really wanted him to make a quick call to, oh say, Little Giant or Beckett and tell them that since they both offer several pond pumps that specifically say "Not for Saltwater Use" LOL live and learn!
Sorry, just had to vent a bit!

ROFLMAO nope he forgot that one broomer ! He did tell me that the pretty pink aquarium gravel would be a great substrate for a reef tank though, and it would be much cheaper than aragonite which he didn't stock btw LOL
