Not sure if I did a decent job but what you see is a test fitand this weekend goes in final. I plan to have a maxi jet on the left side so I don't have a deadspot in the tank. This is my first attempt with aquarium plumbing and to say the least its fun. Give some feedback whether good or bad please.

Looks good.

You could just have the one pump and where you have the T on the top return section put in a SCWD unit and put the return on the left like you have the one on the right. Centering the SCWD of course, and omit the ball valves. Just and idea to upgrade later if you felt like it.
