My nanocube news

Whelp,
Got the nano cube in on Friday. Opened up the big box that it was in. Opened the Nanocube box, and wow.. it looked awesome from the top.
Took the styrafoam off.. pulled the tank out.. and the whole right side was all cracked and shattered .
So it's going to be a while before I can start cycling my tank .
I did however order the Jacksdad Skimmer 1.1 mod .. and can't wait for that to come in, hopefully i'll have a tank for it.

Sorry to hear about the cracked cube. There is a growing number of people who either received a cracked cube or whose cubes have cracked after setup. JBJ is aware of the problem and is very helpful in replacing "non modded" cubes. I would suggest that everyone inspect their cubes. The most common area that cracks is the corner, so give your cube a good going over.

Well mine wasn't really "cracked" more like shattered. One whole side.. Looked like a rock through a car window
Now i know when a kid gets something on christmas but has no batteries to play with it

Lots or cubes are cracking, email jbj and they will send a replacement for free!

Should I send it to JBJ or send it to the place where I bought it? Since obviously the damage was from Shipping.
Also, I wouldn't say cracked.. 1 side is shattered.
