I ordered my 120 gallon rr tank and it came in today and i love it. Tell me what you think. Oh and also should i leave the glass top on or off. What is your opinion. thanks.

Looks good! What are the dimensions? And, as for the glass top, I guess it would depend what kind of livestock you are going to keep...

Yes the dimensions are 48x24x24. I have heard though that if you keep the glass top on it will increase the heat and that it wont do the oxygen exchange it needs. I am not sure though. But i wonder if i could leave the back piece off. Which would be about 3 inches of open space on the top. It would be directly over the over flow boxes.

I have same 120 if that's a AGA. I don't use glass tops. Actually I bought it without as I planned on never using them, saved a few bucks. I had tops on my 75 when I got it and it kept heat in and they weren't clear (dimpled). I took them off and don't even know where they are or if I even have them anymore....

Looks awesome all I have to say is get them off the dresser's (Plural) before you fill it
Or you might have some major problems down the road :happyfish Good luck and happy fishing

the tank will come crashing to the floor b/c the dressers prbley have no chance at holding the weight of a 120 gallon tank

Unbreakable, have you installed the megaflow kit yet? My bulkheads are made for flex pipe, not PVC, to attach to. Is yours the same? seems weird to me that this is what they include. I thought everyone used PVC for returns and overflows :notsure:

I am using the pvc pipe for the return and overflow. It does seem weird that I had the same question about my bulk head. I have flex tubing going from one of my drain pipes and didnt know how to attach the bulk head?

well mine came with pvc for the return and drain pipe. Not sure what you are asking? I have flex tubing that comes and goes to my overflow box where it hooks up to the bulkheads. Do you have pvc pipe comeing from your overflow box to the 1 inch or 1 1/2 inche bulkhead with hose barb? Then from there it goes through the flex tubing into your sump. Do you know what i am talking about?

I think i know what you're talking about, lol.
I have pvc in the tank for the overflow and return. They(the pvc) go into the bulkheads but then under the tank, only flex can be attached to the bulkheads to go down into the sump(or come back from the sump up to the returns). Is that what you have? flex pipe actually going into the sump not pvc? Is that normal?
