My new 135

I just picked up a used 135 gallon tank stand and canopy for $250 bucks. I just got it out of my truck and i want to start cleaning it out and prepping it for my living room. I'v had a FOWLR 60 gallon tank w/ 20 gallon sump for about a year and a half so i'm fairly experienced but i've never had anything this big or anything used before. I have some questions that i hope can be answered please! pictures and progress will come soon.
Is the best way to clean the inside of the tank with half vinegar and half water?
The PO used it for Freshwater so i need to drill some holes in it. Also when he removed the tank he cracked the top piece of glass that holds the 2 sides together. Is this something that i need to take out and replace?
I want to do an over flow box but have never had one set up before, can someone give me some info on them please?
I'm planning on doing a sump with baffles for a fuge, protein skimmer, and return pumps. but im not sure as of yet what will fit under my stand. Any ideas?
I noticed some little scratches on the tank, is there any way to get those out?
Pictures will be here soon...
thanks for any help!

Is this something i should be worried about?

I was thinking about stocking it with a few larger tangs, my Emperor Angel, a decent Trigger, maybe some schooling fish. Other then that i am open for suggestions please.

Hey you have the same tank as me. Mine was already clean and is in nice shape. If it is craked big they it will be a problem but if it is just chipped then it should be ok. If you are worried just get a piece of glass and silicone it to either sides so it is nice and strong. I was going to do boxes but I was cheaper to just get blukhead/overflows. Check out my thread, I can't wait to see your tank done, along with mine. Good luck.
