I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that helped me get my 55gal up and running 9 months ago. I have caught the fever and just purchased this established 200 gal. that was being neglected. Here are some pics, any comments are welcome.

Not too shabby.
So, now give us the rundown: Lights, filtration, LR, LS, livestock, and what are your plans for her.

Did you just order all of these fish at the same time?

Is this already resetup at your place? I would have removed those damsels, but that is me.
Don't forget to QT those hippos. They will be very difficult to remove once placed in that big of a tank.

Lighting: 3 metal halides and 2 six foot flourescents which i am going to put actnics in, Filtration: is has 2 overflows with a sump underneath also has acustom sea life chiller, it has about 300 lbs of live rock and when i moved it to my house i replaced the existing live sand with new live sand about a 1 1/2 inch depth. The damsels definetly have to go i might keep a couple but 7 is way to much.

I purchased the tank from a mechanics shop in the area he has been trying to sell it for four months and started with a price of $3500 when i saw it i made an offer of $1000 and he took it. Yes I stole it I know. In the tank is a ton of colt coral which i would like to frag out for trades. it also has multiple types of mushrooms the corals that look like mushrooms but have tentacles on them i do not know what they are an ID would be nice

how old is the tank to be getting two mandarins. thats risky, def QT the Hippos if not all three tangs. but looks good. the actinic bulbs will help brighten the color of the tank too.

I hope not either. The mandarins will not fare very well in there at all, and the clown tang is an extremely difficult fish to keep in a newly set-up or re-set-up tank.

I want to keep the tank very docile so no triggers or puffers, i do plan to either put in a queen angel or an emperor angel and lots and lots and lots of coral, Also i got a pink tip anemone and i will soon after get some percula clown and hopefully it will host. Any suggestions on corals and fish let me know.

The tank has been running for 13 months there are a ton of worms and massive copopods that i can see so i think the mandarins will be fine IMO

just watch any angel with corals. they can and sometimes will eat coral. especially regular sized angels. meaning not dwarfs.

JMO, even an established 200 gallon tank will have trouble to adapting to the bioload of the addition of 6 fish simultaneously. I hope I'm wrong but I think you're going to have problems if you don't spread those purchases out over 2-3 weeks per fish, especially the tangs.
