Well guys i just started to set up my 55gal today....
i need a help on a few things nad ill post pics of the problem....

If you still have a problem, in the third picture the problem is that the pump is facing the wrong way. I had one for a few days before I sold it but when I had it, it was faced the other way and the airline tube should be facing up. The Silencer should but kept out of the water. FYI this skimmer is basically prone to leaking and one point or another. It also is noisy and produces a vast amount of microbubbles even after it has been broken in. I bought a Aqua C Remora with a Maxi-Jet 1200. This baby works like a charm and is so easy a caveman could use it

I would suggest this one if you want a plug in and sit back type skimmer or an Octopus Skimmer if you are the type of person that likes to tinker and mod your things.
