!My New Antennata lionfish!

I finally got my favorite fish of all time.
Too bad i dont have a good camera until christmas :/.
I have to manage with my phone until then lol.

ghost shrimp and feeder fish and squid in garlic..

Very Nice, is it on frozen food?
If it is you want to stick with the frozen and eliminate the live.

I would feed the ghost shrimp for now, but feed the ghost shrimp something nutritional before feeding them to your lion, you can also try live fiddler crabs. Pick up a feeder stick from you LFS, with the Antennata lion, I would try weaning with Krill, frozen mysis or you can try frozen sand eels.
Soak all of your foods in vitamins, once you wean you can start adding in Raw shrimp, crab, squid, octo & scallops. Feed until there is a slight bulge in the stomach area.

my lion was shy for a day. now all he does is follow me around the tank and eat like a pig

Mine eats silversides like a pig, you could try them. Very nice looking fish.

Mine used eat only ghost shrimp. I starved him for a week and now he accepts frozen mysis and krill.

if you can get him eating frozen food frozen silversides make an awesome meal, the ones at the pet store I used to manage would eat out of my fingers usually took work with new arrivals but it helped ensure parasite free meals and less waste from missed food.

That is a better choice than a feeder fish but it can pricey!!! :scared:
