I got it last monday, the store had them for around 3 weeks, and i was waiting to see how they did in the store. This one and three other ones were still doing good so i decided to take a chance on it. Its doing really well, the bottom center part of it is a little lighter than the outside of it, but is not near as white as it appears in the picture. There has been a little growth around the top, so im pretty sure its gonna do fine!
i have wanted one for a long time.

looks good! blue sponges are too cool. i almost bought one at a frag swap a while back, but i decided against it because there were some bubbles in the container. hope it does well for you.

I was in the store when around 12 of them came in, and almost bought one. But decided to wait for 2-3 weeks to make sure they were going to make it, and then was very careful to make the guy keep the sponge under water while putting it into the bag.
I will try and get a picture where it shows more of the actual color, not so white.

everywhere i have read says that they are moderate to difficult care level, and need high indirect flow, and moderate to high light. Mine has been in the tank for a little over a week, and seems to be doing good. You dont feed it anything, it is a filtr feeder, thats why it needs high flow to keep constant water flowing through it and also to keep any algea from growing on it which would kill it.
I am going to trim off some of the lighter pieces because i
fear that they are slowly dying pieces, i may cut a few chunks off of the top where its bright blue and place them throughout the tank, so that the entire piece doesnt die if something goes wrong.

How is yours doing? this piece is doing good, and i really want it to do well in my tank.
I have a beautiful yellow sponge, and a small purple sponge that were hitch hikers.
