My first coral addition! He opened right up after only 2 hours and ate some krill. All thanks to OldYellerTang!

When do you feed the coral the krill? When the lights are on mine just inflates all the bubbles and doesnt really move. When the lights are off the tenticles come out but dont really seem to extend for food. Heres mine.

Thanks j21kickster! I am stoked myself...
Chef jaysen: OldYellerTang - the guy I got my bubble from, told me to feed it at night when it extends fully after the lights go out. Almost as soon as I got this one home he opened up and was searching so I fed him some krill which he happily gobbled up. How are you feeding yours? I tried squirting some brine shrimp onto him with a baster as OldYellerTang suggested, but he didn't touch any of it. I decided to try the same way I feed my anemone- with krill and a pair of tweezers - I just touch the krill to a tentacle and let it go and he sucks it right in. Maybe your guy just needs some assistance. Good Luck!

Maybe so. I got him two weeks ago and other than the light and food that passes over him I havent fed him yet. I will tomorrow try the asisted methods. Thanks.....

Chef jaysen: Glad to help. Looks like he just wanted something different. Keep it up and he'll get HUGE like mine :)
OldYellerTang (aka Roland) - He is THRIVING! Hasn't shrunk a centimeter since he opened up yesterday. He has TONS of space there to expand and I fed him once more this morning - I don't plan on keeping this up, everyone just wants to see him him eat "just once" :D Thanks again man!
I am all over that other place you suggested, I put you as my reference and my handle is the same as here. I am keeping my eye on my zoo's, they are actually right above where the coral is - I think they are too small to see in the pic...maybe in the ones I sent you since they are so much bigger. I will take some close ups in macro mode so you can see their color. I'll definitly be at the next frag swap! Thanks again Roland!

Bubble coral looks great, if you dont mind, how much do they run? They seem to be really expensive on my side of town, I pretty much have my tank set, other than the bubble coral that I want.....
