My new catch of fish

Alright if the pictures post, these are what I just caught yesterday. The pictures are not the best, but list is as followed 1 Tomato clown fish, and his anemity, 2 star fish, name unknown, maby someone could help me with that? and a crab who is covered in ocean debrie. I let my Pepperd moray Eel go, he was completly fine and I saw him out to sea. I let him go so i could catch more fish without fear of him eating them. Catching fish is no easy task, I got cut up pretty bad in the waves yeasterday, but it was fun never the less, the clown fish are the easyest because they hide in the anemitys and dont swim off. I tryed my luck at a lot of others, many of wich I cannot name, but very very nice. A picaso trigger is what I want next, they are aggresive and will come after you but turn at the last second. I went to a place called sharks cove and well I can see why there would be sharks there, I have never seen so many fish, it started off as a sand bed with some coral reef and then it dropped down about 70 feet or so and this is all withen the regular reef so there is really no fear of being swepted out to sea. so when the tide is high the sharks can come in, it kept me looking over my shoulder the whole time. not that, that would help much, I always have my dive knife but if you get bit out here, good luck. So here are the pics and a little information on my latest adventure.

Nice pics.
However, I couldn't help but notice you had 2 Blue Linkia Stars in the same tank. That's usually a big no-no. When a Blue Linkia senses another Linkia present, it secrets a defensive 'hormone' that will literally cause both of your stars to melt. If you can, I would separate them or at least move them to opposite ends of your tank.

Nope I did not know that at all, I found them together and thought did not want to leave the other behind. I will seprate them in the tank, thanks for the name of the star fish and the information.

Not to be rude(I'm in Iowa, never even seen the ocean) but are there regulations on catching fish from the ocean? You are very lucky to be able to be see the ocean like you do.

I was thinking about that too. But I think that, if you have a saltwater fishing license, it would be just like fishing.

He is in a different country.........but in Florida there r regulations to people with out the a speacial license which u cant get anymore (like 10 exsist) but a normal person can collect like 10 things at a time or something like that. Of course there r some things u cant collect at all, live rock one of them.

Thank you for handeling that. I am in Guam catching fish from Marine preserves is wrong, but only 10% of guams beaches are marine preserves. that leaves the rest of the Island fish friendly, although there are laws agaist the live rock.

I am fortunate enough to travel to Guam for work, and return in three weeks! These Linckia sp. starfish are HUGE and amazing! I doubt you'd be able to keep up with their food supply longterm Raphael, so I wouldn't keep each one too long. They are everywhere and easy to catch obviously though Raphael, so you may want to think about not keeping them too long.
To get an idea of size, look at this photo where I'm holding one and it dwarfs my hand. Amazing...
For those of you interested in the collection of marine ornamentals in Florida, here is the link...
