I do have the MH lighting and the clam measures about 7 inches in length and is wide the a soft ball. The picture does this clam no justice. You need to see it in person the belive how big it is.

I saw a clam at my LHS, they jsut got the tanks set up for them, they are blue and green holy cow clams are so amazing looking!
