i was monitoring your conversations on the classified board. must say that i am envious. totally awesome eel and i wish you luck with that specimen.

I'm happy he's doing well for you, Ryan. Keep in mind, what I told you tho...keep him fed, when he shows signs of being hungry. Also...don't know what your setup is like, but you'd better keep tops on the tank (either glass or eggcrate). After having him for over 3 years, with no problems, he started wanting out of the tank, just before I sent him to you.

I got egg crate on top. The last thing i want to find is an eel on the floor. Zip tied down to the overflows to hold it down real tight and when the top is on the outside edge is held down by that. And Thanks. If he gets to hungry and eats a fish or two i won't be devistated. I know that is a risk i am running. So far so good now about ten years to go and then i can say i am a sucess.

Hey, Titan...you were honestly the very person I thought about, when I decided to sell them. With you being in Canada, tho, it wouldn't have been feasible to ship...they'd have to go thru customs, etc...all the paperwork...just a PITA.
