My New Flame Angel!

Hello, everyone!
I purchased a Flame Angel today!
It looks like a very good fish. I got it from the best fish store I know of. It is MAC certified, so I know that the fish was collected responsibly and without chemicals, and they take excellent care of their livestock. The lady who helped my went to get food to feed it before I even asked! She was feeding the eels at the time, and threw a piece of that food (something meaty) but said the angel probably wouldn't eat it because it wasn't used to it, and went to get other food. The angel devoured the food! I'm very happy. Its a very healthy looking fish, and did very well with the four hour ride home. They even gave me a box and insulation for the ride!
I'll try and get pics tomorrow, it is acclimating right now.

Is it possible for a fish to develop ich in nine hours?
Last night the fish showed no signs of ich, and this morning it has white spots on it. Behavior wise it appears to be fine, it just has white spots.
I'll post in the disease and treatment forum too.

Stressed fish can get covered in ich real fast and new arrivals are very stressed. Did you use a QT? If not your whole system is now infected.
Fish only/QT...do hypo (read sticky on how from Beth)
FOWLR + inverts/Reef tank ..remove all fish to quarantine and do hypo and leave the tank fish free for 6 to 8 weeks.

Yes, thank goodness it's in a QT. I learned that the hard way last time with my clowns. But they pulled through!
I'm going to look more carefully tonight, probably do a freshwater dip to knock off the parasites on the fish right now, and start hypo.
Wish me luck! I'm confident though. The fish was eating well, so that shouldn't be an issue, and I've done hypo before with success.
And I caught the ich (assuming that's what it is) early, so that should help.
I'll still get pics. :)
