heres another pic i rearanged my tank a little so i could have my 3 different shrooms close to each other i think it looks better this way than before..... i actualy had to get rid of my green LTA this morning i packed him up and took him back to the LFS he was just too big and took up too much room in the front of the tank along the glass....
1st pic close up of the shrooms
2nd pic of middle of the tank old with the large LTA
3rd pic is new with the LTA removed and my mushrooms in the center and my xenias to the left

thanks alot! so u guys think i got a pretty good price on the shrooms then..... it was the same kid who last time who gave me some free orange zoo's..... the original price on the shrooms was $50 but he knocked it down to $45 and i didnt even ask him too.... i guess it pays off to carry a conversation with them and as how there lives are going lol....
anyway i think they are very nice looking and i love the color.... its often difficult to find nice shrooms and zoo's at the 2 LFS's i go to out where i live thats y i bought these....

Hey, I just call 'em like I see 'em!
I'm getting some new lighting soon, then I'll start collecting coral. My buddy is bringing me some mushrooms tonight. I currently have 160 watts on my 75 gallon. THis outa keep the shrooms happy for a while. The coraline is growing like crazy!
Maybe I'll have some pics later in the week.

what kind of lighting are you going to be getting over your tank....
yeah mushrooms should do fine under what u have the color might not be the brightest but im sure with your new lighting they will look great....
what do you currently have?? fish?? etc...??
i just started into the corals about 4-5 months ago started with some shrooms and polyps now ive got a good collection of things.... i only started with a FO tank then added some LR then a few anemones now i upgraded my lights for corals.... i have 470WPC currently but i really want to jump into the SPS and get some MH's but i think im gona wait till next year when i upgrade my tank and give this one to my friend....
i want to actually upgrade my tank to a 180 or even bigger.... i want to recess it into my wall in the entry way is i think it would be awesome .... thats my project at the begginning of the new year....
what kind of selection do you guys have out there in the country land??

I have an Icecap 660 with 440watt capability that I just haven't wired yet. I am running 2-coralife magtinic and 2 - 10k 40watt normal outputs. I will use the same type of bulbs only in a 110watt VHO when I upgrade. I have plans and material for a simple canopy. It all takes time. . . .
Currently we have a cleaner crew(IN THE MIX from SWF.com) and 2 clowns. The LFS said the clowns were percula, but they look more like oscilaris. We also have tons of pods (all over the glass) and coraline spreading on all the base rock. 75 gallon was switched to SW on April 1. I see you have a blue tang. Is he doing OK? I want one but I'm afraid my tank is too small.
The selection is OK here, but I'm only a few clicks away from SWF.com. I like the guarantee they give even if they ship something 500 miles.
Your tank looks GREAT! I like the toadstool. Good JOB!

thanks alot!
yeah i got the blue hippo tang like 5 months ago or so cant remember exactly when.... but i got hime when he was like 1" long and now hes about 4-5"s i didnt realize at first that they needed a varied diet of meaty and vegetable/algaes.... i only feed him meaty foods for a while then he started getting fin erosin and lateral line disease.... i then read up about them and now i alternate food from frozen enriched meaty foods like mysis and krill then to formula 1 and 2 for his algae intake.... his fins have grown all the way back and his lateral line erosion is about 95% better..... wish i wouldna known this in the first place.... hes a very fun fish to watch and very colorful.... i know they arent recommended for anything under a 100g but if u get a small one i think u would be ok for a while....
i also have a uv filter on my tank .... ive heard that these fish are prone to ick but i havent experienced ick since ive gotten the uv filter.....
yeah i just redid my canopy so i could fit more lighting under it.... the old one was too close to the water and used some wierd hinging system which took up all the lighting space it wasnt designed for a reef tank.... the new one works great and looks good too.... fits all my lighting and my cooling fans while concealing all the equipment i have....
how is ordering form SWF.com?? im always affraid to order live stuff from online....

I am very satisfied with SWF.com. I ordered the cleaner crew + 10 extra cerith snails. THey arrived in great shape and took right to work after acclimating them to the water in my tank.
(I know they are watching but i don't mind looking like a boot licker.) BUT I would recomend this site to anyone. I'm probably going to order some mushrooms from here soon. I want to get some different from my friend, so we can trade. I've got my eye on some green or blue striped ones.

Yeah,
Out of all the snails and hermit crabs, we found 1 empty shell. We had a fatality of mortal combat and one snail didn't live more than a couple of days, but all in all, GOOD purchase.
We might get 1 fish with our order of shrooms. That is the only drawback to this site. There is a minimum $79.00 order. This is, however not hard to do with saltwater livestock!!!!!

yeah thats very true i always seem to spend more than $79 when i go to the LFS... the only thing im kinda worried about is that i live across the country from where saltwaterfish.com ships from.... from florida to california is a long flight and im just worried that it would be very stressful for most creatures...
hmmmm :notsure:
