My new lionfish

I finally got my first fish for m 90 gallon

He is about 2 inches at the most and is small enough to eat my pods or atleast i think they are pods heres the picture
sry bout the picture wanst exactly sure how to do it and any suggestions as to tankmates

he/she is nice i think a trigger would do good with he/she or a eel.

i wanted to do the lion, a harlequin tusk, lip leaf grouper, and mabe an eel but not sure wat type of eel

is that lion tiny? if so get that thing on frozen fast. usually when they are under 2 to 3 inches they take to frozen mysis or krill pretty quickly and once that you get em on frozen don't give em live .

he is very small and i have him eating a mix of krill, mysis, and small pieces of silversides

I've had a Humu Humu and a Blue Throat trigger in with my Volitans Lion for about a year and I have never, ever, seen either of them going after the lion's fins

my triggers always avoid my lion fish. i have a niger, humu, and undulated trigger that are just a bit smaller than my lion.

yea ive had triggers eat lions but the triggers that have done that were veterans of the tank and only titans and undulateds. i would say in most cases the lion and trigger combo is just fine take the advice. a trigger or eel is good.

You can have a lion with any corals so why not put one in you dont need the shrinp or other small fish
i wasn't going to go with the trigger just because i am going to have a lion and a eel and i just dont want to take the chances with one and i dont really want one that bad
