My new misbar pair!~

I have been waiting for a long time for a pair of misbars and even had people looking out for me on them (Thanks, DeMartini!

)
I finally have a pair and they are getting along great!~

Ummm... they seem to be drawn to the brain...

During acclimation:

At first, I picked this one, bought him and then picked another one that I thought would be a better match instead.

I believe that they *are* going to end up hosting the brain.

The funny thing is my true perc that I had to remove today did the same thing. Was hoping that they'd go for the frogspawn, but they didn't seem too interested in it yet.
But yay!! I'm SO happy that I finally have a pair!~

Just got back from checking in on them. (tank is at work in my office) They're still hanging out by the brain, but they were in the middle of a fierce dominance dance. Twirling around each other, charging into each other. Poor things, they must have been doing it for awhile because they were breathing really hard!

After a little while, one stayed by the brain and the other went to the Koralia powerhead and hanging out near the top. Their breathing returned back to normal.

They're tiny, but fierce little boogers while they are trying to establish their dominance! Hopefully they will get it worked out and learn to get along fine.
They have a great appetite and ate fine so I am going to try not to worry about them during this "transition" period.
