My new Pico!

Today i setup my new 3 gallon Pico. I have about 5lbs of live rock and about 3lbs of black live sand. I will post pictures tonight! .
Now i will begin startng to post my test results during the cycle

You do not need light while the tank cycles. After that around 8-9 hours is good.

Ok its day three in the cycle and here are my readings...
Nitrate 0
Calcium 480
Phosphate .25
Alk 10*dkh
Let me know what u guys think! I dont have a PH or ammonia test yet, i will pick one up tommorow.

When cycling a tank, the Ammonia Test is probably needed the most...

Ph - 7.8
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
Calcium 480
phosphate .25

Should i be worried about the PH?

now when you test your water in a pico is that considered a water change too?

What kind of water did you use? Phosphates should be undetectable.
