Ive been looking for sexy shrimp for quite a while, and finally yesterday i found 2 at my lfs. I purchased them, aclimated them for 45 minuts, and put them in. they were both doing great last night, hanging out on the side glass. When i woke up today, 1 of them was missing. I looked all over the tank. Today was my waterchange day, so while i was vacumming the gravel i moved some rocks to look for it but i still cant find it. I doubt my clown or goby would eat it. Could my pepermint shrimp have gotten it, or do you think it maby jumped out of the tank somehow.

1) Looks like a harlequin shrimp,not a peppermint. 2) Shrimp do better with a longer acclimation. 3) When first introduced into a new tank they are very likely to molt. When they do this they find a hiding spot since they are unprotected until the new shell hardens. Give them a day or two.

yea he could be hiding except htat its only a 10 gallen tank, and i dont have many rocks with good hiding spots, so he should be easy to spot. Its not a harlaquin or pepermint shrimp its a sexy shrimp
